French-canadian vocalist Chrystelle Maechler and her Toronto-based jazz project SOA are going on a self-financed tour to Europe where she started singing jazz 15 years ago. The trip quickly turns out to be more than a simple tour. It becomes an emotional ride between struggle and joy, and a way to reconnect with her European roots and musical beginnings.
” … a well crafted, touching story.” ” SOA’s powerful music alone is worth the watch.”
